In this project we had to create a painting on 'Legacy" which means what is your own personal Legacy. I painted a painting with four boxes and my amakua which is the Hawaiian turtle in the middle. In each box it symbolizes the things I learned growing up Hawaiian. In the first box its a crown with the Hawaiian Islands to symbolizes King Kamehameha Conquering the Hawaiian Islands. The second box with the Hook symbolizes Maui. The third box is the Hokule'a because we were once voyagers. The fourth and final box is the Hawaiian Sovereignty flag to represent Hawai'is freedom taken away.
